Officially opening in 2015, Truganina College is located within the City of Wyndham at 55 Clearwood Drive, Truganina. The area is believed to be named after Truganini, a full-blooded Aboriginal Tasmanian woman who spent a short time in the area.

In 2015, the first stage of Truganina College opened and provided classrooms and specialist spaces for students in Years Foundation – 6. The second stage opened in late 2016 and involves learning communities for students in Years 7 – 9, additional specialist spaces and a gymnasium. The College is organised around the primary and secondary stages of schooling. The school focuses on effective transition from Early Learning Centres and to Senior Secondary education.

Truganina College has a Neighbourhood Boundary. Please refer to the maps below to see whether you live within our boundary before applying for enrolment. Proof of residency is required at the time of enrolment.

Enrolments are currently open for students in Foundation – Year 8 in 2017 and students in Foundation – Year 9 in 2018.

School Tour Information

We would like to welcome families to join us on school tours of Truganina College.

Tours for 2017 will begin on Thursday 27th April and conclude on Friday 15th September. Tours details are as follows:

  • Foundation – Year 3 families – every third Thursday from 9.00am – 10.00am
  • Year 4 – 6 families – every second Friday from 9.00am – 10.00am
  • Year 7 – 9 families – every second Tuesday from 9.00am – 10.00am
