Placement Policy

Enrolment at Truganina College – First Step

If you wish to enrol your child at Truganina College, please contact our Enrolments Team on with the following information:

  • Child’s name
  • DOB
  • Residential Address
  • Previous School (if applicable)

The Enrolments Team will respond via email. If you do not have access to email, please call the College on 9368 9800.


**Open Day 1 of Term 2 – Monday 15th April 2024**

The Department of Education (DoE) has a state-wide Foundation (Prep) enrolment timeline.

The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child into Foundation (Prep) at a Victorian government primary school, including Truganina College.

Families wishing to apply out of zone need to complete the attached Foundation 2025 Application To Enrol. This can be submitted via email to or in person at the school office.

Please note that Truganina College currently have an Enrolments Management Implementation Plan in place. This means we have been advised until further notice to only accept new students that live in our zone, have a sibling attending the school or in exceptional circumstances, they are seeking enrolment on compassionate grounds.

Families that reside in our zone or have a sibling at our school:
All new enrolments for 2025 that reside in our zone or have a sibling currently enrolled enrolled, please pick up an enrolment pack from our school reception. There is no need to fill out an Application to Enrol form.
